What I do

I’ve always been interested in words, ideas and people – how organisations communicate, how decisions are made and what sits behind the headlines. My background spans marketing, organisational research and specialist HR functions, all linked by a common thread: understanding audiences, asking the right questions and communicating clearly.

As Research Manager at Harlow Consulting, I support projects from inception to delivery, working across project management, stakeholder engagement, data collection, analysis and reporting. I enjoy the variety that comes with consultancy work and particularly value opportunities to translate complex information into clear, engaging and useful insight.

Areas of specialism

My strengths lie in communication, analysis and intellectual curiosity. I’m particularly interested in qualitative research, evidence-led storytelling and understanding the human factors that influence organisational decision-making and change.

I enjoy working closely with clients and stakeholders to gather the evidence to support strategy, evaluation and improvement. My experience across different sectors and disciplines means I bring a broad perspective to projects, alongside an instinct for spotting patterns, themes and the questions that haven’t yet been asked.

I believe good research should be both rigorous and accessible. For me, the most rewarding projects are those where evidence and insight lead to informed conversations, practical action and positive change.

An ongoing sense of bewilderment that her children are ‘grown up’ enough to have flown the nest, and a husband who reminds her that was always the plan.
